Curtis Ray Ivey, 47, of Birmingham, Ala., passed away Monday, Jan. 13, 2014, in Searcy, Arkansas.
He was born Feb. 14, 1966, in Fort Smith.

He was a costume designer.

He is survived by his companion of 17 years, James Richard of Birmingham; a daughter, Bethany Ivey of Gassville; his parents, Raymond Ivey of Van Buren and Elizabeth Keel and husband Dennie of Williford; a brother, Greg Ivey of Tuckerman; his grandmother, Vessie Ivey of Van Buren; and two nephews, Dylan Ivey and Jackson Ivey.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Concord Baptist Church in Van Buren with burial to follow at Hight Cemetery in Pleasant View under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home in Van Buren.

Pallbearers will be Adam Hayes, David Hayes, Spencer Kinsey, Brian Kinsey, Johnny Fisher and Richey Fisher.
