Heinrich (Henry) John George Beumer was born on April 12, 1884, in St Charles, Missouri. He married Martha Florentine Louise Knoernschild on February 20, 1908, in Augusta, Missouri. They had one child during their marriage. He died on March 11, 1959, in Stuttgart, Arkansas, at the age of 74, and was buried there.
