Harold Miller, age 81, of Arkadelphia, went home to be with his Lord on Tuesday, February 15, 2011.
He was born on December 4, 1929, at Langley, Arkansas, the son of Alva E. Miller and Melvin Risner Miller.
He retired from Arkansas Best Freightlines after 41 years on the road. While living in North Little Rock, he was a member of the Levi Baptist Church for 35 years. After moving to Arkadelphia, he became a member of Second Baptist Church. He was a United States Air Force veteran.
He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Lois Edith Millsapps Miller of Arkadelphia; two sons and daughters-in-law, Mike and Cindy Miller of Lakeville, Minnesota and Richard and Joy Miller of Arkadelphia; four grandchildren, Shane Miller and his wife, Tracy, of Hugo, Minnesota, Sarah Kranz and her husband, Doug, of Sturtevant, Wisconsin, Cody Miller and Jennifer Miller both of Arkadelphia; two great-grandchildren; and his sister, Wanda Barnes of Sand Springs, Oklahoma.
Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, February 19, 2011, in the Second Baptist Church in Arkadelphia with Rev. Stan Parris officiating.Visitation will be Saturday, 9:30 AM until service time at the church.
Interment will be in the Glenwood Cemetery under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood.
Pallbearers will be Shane Miller, Cody Miller, Bill Phillips, David Golden, Leon Crow and Don Egger.
Memorials may be made to Building Future Generations, Second Baptist Church, 815 S. 12th Street, Arkadelphia, Arkansas 71923.
