Joseph McCoy Jr., age 69, of Lake Village, died Wednesday, February 27, 2013, at Chicot Memorial Medical Center in Lake Village. He was born April 1, 1943 in Lake Village, to the late Joseph McCoy Sr. and Pearline Griffin McCoy. He was a farmer and a Baptist.
He was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Jean McCoy, Sarah Lee McCoy and a brother, Richard McCoy. He is survived by a son, Joseph McCoy III., of Hamburg; 2 daughters, Dorothy McCoy, of Hamburg, and Brenda McCoy, of Crossett, a close friend, Mary Henry, of Little Rock and 5 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11 AM Saturday, March 2, 2013 at Bishop Funeral Home in Lake Village, Arkansas with Rev Ceasar Paul officiating. Arrangements are by Bishop Funeral Home of Lake Village.
