Billy Lester Hulsey, 84, of Judsonia, died Tuesday, March 7, 2017. He was born April 27, 1932 in Judsonia to the late Lester and Lanell (Steven) Hulsey. Billy was a man of few words, but he had deep feelings and loved his family. He was an active member of the Friendship Missionary Baptist Church of Judsonia and cared a lot for his church family. He was good with his hands and loved that he could teach his sons to hunt. Billy pipelined for 10 years and enjoyed the traveling that he got to do while working. He also was a chicken farmer and was in the business for 24 years.
He leaves behind his wife of 57 years, Betty (Brooks) Hulsey; two sons, Dirick Hulsey and his wife Cindy of Ward and Michael Hulsey and his wife Amanda of Searcy; three grandchildren, Ben Hulsey (J.J.) of White Hall, Jake Hulsey (Amber) of Cabot, and Rachel Hulsey of Bradford.
He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Lowell Hulsey.
Graveside services will 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 10, 2017, at the White County Memorial Gardens in Searcy. Arrangements entrusted to Powell Funeral Home Bald Knob-Judsonia. www.powellfuneralhome.net
