Walter "Walt" Kenneth Wolf, age 78, of Mountain Home, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2013 in Mountain Home. He was born May 1, 1935, in Mountain Hone, Arkansas to Arthur Carlisle and Stacey Forrest (Baker) Wolf.
Walt served in the United States Army as a medic. He retired from the California Highway Patrol after 27 years, with numerous commendations. He married Cynthia Stillman August 26, 2006, in Mountain Home, Arkansas. He was a member of the Mountain Home Christian Church. He was very proud that he was a descendant of Major Jacob Wolf, founder of the Wolf House located in Norfork, Arkansas.
Walt is survived by his wife: Cindy Wolf of Mountain Home, a daughter: Kayla Yerina of Dover, Arkansas, step daughters: Mary Ahrens of Overland Park, Kansas and Laura Ahrens of Fayetteville, Arkansas, a granddaughter: Katie Yerina, several nieces and nephews and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers: Frank "Bitsy" Wolf, Warren "Bob" Wolf and John "Jay" Wolf and a sister: Maxine "Sissy" Wolf.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 22, 2013, at the Roller Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Gene McCoy officiating. Interment will be in Mountain Home Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House.
