When John Thomas Waggle was born on February 26, 1893, in Lutesville, Missouri, his father, John, was 26 and his mother, Beth, was 20. He married Lillie Frances Eakers on October 17, 1909, in Bollinger, Missouri. They had two children during their marriage. He died on March 30, 1969, in Higginson, Arkansas, at the age of 76, and was buried in Walker, Arkansas.
