Clarence Eugene Haley Monday, January 3, 2005 11:51 PM CST Clarence Eugene Haley, 82, of Judsonia, died Sunday, January 2, 2005 in Searcy, Arkansas. Born on June 4, 1922, in Haleyville, Alabama, he was the son of Clarence M. Haley and Pearlie (Gore) Haley.

He was survived by his wife of 59 years, Geneva (Strayhorn) Haley; one son, Richard E. Haley and his wife Angie of Searcy; three daughters, Linda Leonard and husband Larry of Searcy; Jane Tanner and husband Wayne of Searcy; Lenitta Haley of Judsonia; four brothers, James Haley of Ceres, California; J.C. Haley of Ward; Johnny Haley of Ward; Oscar Haley of Mount Vernon; five sisters: Irene Kean of Florida; Christine Toone of Lonoke; Francis Pitts of Austin; Joyce Reagan of Ward; Alice Knocke of Ward, Arkansas; six grandchildren: Richie Haley, Christopher Lea, Suzanne Modlin, Charles Leonard, Stephanie Holloway, Jennifer Huckeby; seven great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Clarence was a veteran of WWII, a Mason, and a retired truck driver for Moore Forest Products.

Funeral services were held on January 4, 2005, at the Roller-Daniel Funeral Home Chapel with entombment following at the White County Memorial Gardens Mausolem.
