Thomas Durl Jackson, 65, of Bradford, died Monday, February 17, 2014 at White River Medical Center in Batesville. He was born December 6, 1948 in Longview, Texas the son of Grover Jackson and Hazel Kuykendall Jackson. He served army from 1969-1972. He was a beloved son, brother, father and grandfather. His reason for living was his grandchildren, who were his pride and joy.
He is survived by his children, Melinda Marie Clauson of Portland, OR, Julie Comstock of Portland, OR, Sherry Jackson Wingo of Bald Knob, Donna Rose Jackson of Portland, OR, Kathryn Pearl Jackson of Portland, OR and Rhey Bachmann of Bradford; sisters, Bonnie Lee O'Conner of Judsonia and Judith Lee Jackson of Searcy; brothers, Grover Cleveland Jackson of Bald Knob and Paul Willie Jackson of Judsonia; 12 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, sister, Barabara Ann McClendon and brother, James Leroy Jackson.
Visitation will be held Thursday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Powell Funeral Home-Bald Knob. Graveside service will be conducted Friday, February 21, 2014, 10:00 a.m., Bethlehem Cemetery at Plainview by Powell Funeral Home Bald Knob-Judsonia
