Junior Julian Chasteen, 84, of Judsonia, died Saturday, June 22, 2013 at the White County Medical Center.
He was born at Judsonia on June 4, 1929 a son of Jullian S. and Reta Cathey Chasteen.
Junior was a farmer and attended the Highway Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters; Willie Mae Yingling and Alene Greenwell.
Surviving are his Wife, Cleda Chasteen, a son, Billy Chasteen of Judsonia, daughters, Julia Ann Brown (Bill) of Pleasant Plains and Cathy Kidd of Judsonia. A sister, Ida Dean Moody, 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, June 24, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the Powell Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Bill Watson officiating. Interment will follow in the Providence Cemetery by Powell Funeral Home, Bald Knob-Judsonia. www.powellfuneralhome.net
