CARTHAGE, Mo. — Chad Michael McClernon, 30, of Carthage, Mo., went to be with the Lord Saturday, May 22, 2010. He was born on Nov. 29, 1979, in Springdale, Ark., to Kenneth and Tempie (Tomlinson) McClernon.
Chad moved to Carthage six years ago from Springdale, Ark. He was a caregiver and a member of the Fairview Christian Church of Carthage, Mo. He graduated with the class of 1997 from Springdale High School.
Survivors include his parents, Kenneth McClernon and wife, Tammy, of Fort Smith, Ark., and Tempie Lambeth and husband, Les, of Carthage, Mo.; one brother, Taylor McClernon, of Sallisaw, Okla.; one sister, Megan McClernon, of Carthage, Mo.; three stepbrothers, Brent, Matt and Randy Lambeth, all of Carthage, Mo.; grandparents, Joe McClernon, of Texas, Eddie and Loretta Ridener, Boe Thompson, and Lonnie and Linda Lambeth, all of Carthage, Mo.; aunts and uncles, Traca and Kenny Lane, and Shawn and Greg Copper; nephew, Ayden Ashler; and niece, McKylee McClernon. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Owen Tomlinson and Jeannie McClernon.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. today, May 25, 2010, at Fairview Christian Church, Carthage, Mo. Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. today, May 25, 2010, at Friendship Cemetery, Springdale, Ark. Arrangements are under the direction and care of Weng Funeral Chapel, Jasper, Mo.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Fairview Christian Church in care of the funeral home.
