Obituary:
Bobby Lee Hays, 76, of Heber Springs, died Monday, August 1, 2011. He was born July 22, 1935 in Denmark a son of the late Homer and Lorene Mason Hays.
He was a retired farmer and a US Army veteran.
He is survived by his brothers, Billy Hays and Dennis Hays both of Searcy; sisters, Shirley Boswell and Marlene King both of Searcy and Faye Henderson of Victoria, Texas.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Merle Hays; sisters, Cleo Lee, Raydean Jones, Macy Stalbaum, Peggy Hays and Glenda Root.
Services will be Friday, August 5, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Powell Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Bethlehem Cemetery at Denmark. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 6-8 p.m. Arrangements are by Powell Funeral Home, Bald Knob-Judsonia. www.powellfuneralhome.net
