Delbert Gene Elliott, 63, of Bald Knob, died Wednesday, August 24, 2011 at Oakdale Nursing Home. He was born October 31, 1947, in Velvet Ridge, to the late William Bill and Alice Boyce Elliott. He was a maintenance man for Harding University.
He leaves behind a son and daughter; three brothers, Lloyd Bud Elliott, Charlie Elliott and Carl Elliot; four sisters, Martha Boyce, Anna Buckner, Betty Chestnut and Velma Durfee all of Bald Knob; as well as many nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be Thursday 6-8 PM. Services will be conducted Friday, 2:00 PM, at Powell Funeral Home Chapel in Bald Knob. Interment will follow in Velvet Ridge Cemetery by Powell Funeral Home Bald Knob-Judsonia.
