Jerry Wayne Byers, 62, of Bald Knob, went to be with His Lord on October 17, 2014. Jerry was born in Searcy to Clark Byers and the late Doris June Byers.
Jerry is survived by his father; his wife, Vickie Jo (Curl) Byers of Bald Knob; a daughter, Nicole Byers of Shawnee, OK; two sons, Jeremy Abele of Little Rock and Derrek Curl (Jessica) of Bald Knob; a sister, Jo Ann Byers Baldwin (Dennis) of Bald Knob; two nieces, Amy Baldwin Stiles (Cody) and Jamie Baldwin (Bart Williams) all of Bald Knob; four grandsons, Dominique Hogg of Edmond, OK, Sean, Eliah and Gaven Curl of Bald Knob; a special great-nephew, Adrian Baldwin of Bald Knob; great-nephew, Dakota Blood of Beebe; grandmother, Jewel Glaze; aunt, Phyliss Byrd (Jimmy); uncle, Randy Glaze (Rita) all of Bald Knob; as well as many friends and family. He is preceded in death by his mother, Doris Glaze Byers.
Visitation will be Sunday, 6:00-8:00 p.m. Services will be conducted, 10:00 a.m., Monday, October 20, 2014 at the Powell Funeral Home Chapel in Bald Knob. Interment will follow in Velvet Ridge Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Powell Funeral Home Bald Knob-Judsonia. www.powellfuneralhome.net
