Dannie Wayne Gilbert of Bald Knob, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 19, 2014. He was born on December 5, 1962 to the late Bill and Louise (Tims) Gilbert in Searcy, Arkansas. Dannie was a Auto Mechanic all his life and loved working on vehicles. He enjoyed fishing, camping, and cooking out. He loved spending time with his family. His greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Tamera Gilbert, four sons, Billy Gilbert and wife Amber, Jason Gilbert and wife Stephanie, Willie Gilbert and wife Jackie, and J.R. Horton, one daughter Kayla Benford and husband Josh, four sisters, Donna Kay Golden, Patricia Tucker, Rosemary Yancey, and Amanda Murphree, one brother Harold Gilbert, sixteen grandchildren, Haiden Gilbert, Heather Gilbert, Bill Gilbert, Nick Parker, Brooke Gilbert, Carter Gilbert, Hailey Gilbert, Trenton Gilbert, Branton Harron, Dawson Steffey, Easton Steffey, and Haven Pedigo, and several nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents Bill and Louise (Tims) Gilbert.
Visitation was held Friday, June 20, 2014 at Bradford Memorial Funeral Home from 6-8p.m. Funeral Service was held Saturday, June 21, 2014 at 2p.m. at Trinity Baptist Church in Bradford, Arkansas with Interment to follow at Velvet Ridge Cemetery in Velvet Ridge, Arkansas.
