Jessica Lougena Kelso, age 23, died Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2007, at Elvis Presley Trauma Center in Memphis.

She was a member of Dominion World Outreach Ministries in Marion where she served on the minister's staff of intercessory prayer, leader of the dance ministry and director of youth ministry as well as other church ministries. She especially loved the dance and music ministries of the church.

She graduated from Rivercrest High School in 2002 with honors. She served the school as a cheerleader all four years of high school.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, the Rev. Leon Kelso.

Survivors include her parents; Joseph and Mailyn Kelso of Keiser; paternal grandmother, Norma Kelso of Mount Vernon, Ill.; maternal grandfather, Earl Troy Catt of Lepanto; maternal grandmother, Mary Lou Catt of Lepanto; one aunt, Tracy Catt of Lepanto; godparents, George and Jeanette Connell of Marion; and her fiancé, Nathan Adams of Eolia, Mo.

A celebration of her life was held in Dominion World Outreach Ministries at Marion.

Active pallbearers were: Lee Kelso, Jerry Kelso, Allen Gustafton, Lonzo Gatlin, Ray Hibler and Walton Westfield.

Honorary pallbearers were: Caleb Connell and Zechariah Connell.

Burial was in Potter Memorial Cemetery at Lepanto.
