SILOAM SPRINGS — Harold Dean Murray, 83, a resident of Siloam Springs, Ark., passed away Dec. 24, 2010, at Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital in Siloam Springs, Ark. He was born Feb. 22, 1927, in Waurika, Okla., the son of Edgar and Cassie L. Brown Murray.

Harold served in the United States Navy.

He was preceded in death by his sisters, Mildred Jordan and Jean Gosnell; one son, Ronald C. Murray; two grandchildren, Daryll Wakefield and Justin Murray.

Family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday evening at Luginbuel Funeral Home in Prairie Grove, Ark.

Survivors include his wife, Maria Murray, of the home; two sons, Harold D. Murray Jr. and James Russell Murray, both of California; one stepson, Reiden K. Tizon of Siloam Springs, Ark.; one daughter, Janice Matlock of Miami, Okla.; one sister, Faye Jackson of Littlefield, Texas; one brother, Arnold B. Murray of Gravette, Ark.; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 31, 2010, at St Mary's Catholic Church in Siloam Springs, Ark., with Father Salvador Marquez-Munoz officiating.

Burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Siloam Springs, Ark.
