Paul Gentry, age 53 of Searcy, died February 24, 2007. He was born to Peadus and Gerry Gentry on June 3, 1953 in Uniontown, Pennsylvania. He attended public schools in Texas and was a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin. He is survived by his parents; three sisters, Linda Durke and husband Tom of Allen, Texas, Susan Martin and husband John of North Little Rock, and Carole Sherman and husband Ron of Norman, Oklahoma; two nephews Taylor Durke and wife Alyson of Atlanta, Georgia and Jordan Durke of Fort Worth, Texas; two nieces, Allison and Morgan Sherman of Norman, Oklahoma; two uncles, Doyle and Mickey Gentry of Falls Church, Virginia, and Lynn Gentry of Searcy; and one aunt Zola Staggs of Searcy. He was preceded in death by one brother, Jerald L. Gentry; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. E.I. Gentry and Mr. and Mrs. A.M. Vaughan. Funeral services will be Tuesday, February 27, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Roller-Daniel Funeral Home with interment following at Oak Grove Cemetery in Searcy, Arkansas. There will not be a visitation at the request of the family.
