When Samuel M Munday was born on July 3, 1869, in Warrick, Indiana, his father, Thomas, was 32 and his mother, Sarah, was 27. He married Essie Florence Berry on October 24, 1893, in St Louis, Missouri. They had three children during their marriage. He died on June 12, 1928, in Lepanto, Arkansas, at the age of 58.
