Henry R. Archambault died on Saturday, December 1, 2012 at White County Medical Center following a long illness. He was born May 23, 1940 to Henry J. Archambault and Alma M. Archambault in Fall River, Massachusetts. He was preceded in death by his parents who were his only family. He is survived by his wife, Julita H. Archambault.
He joined the United States Air Force in 1960 and retired after 28 years as a Chief Master Sergeant. Most of his military career was spent overseas. He served in England, Vietnam, and Thailand. Archie, as he liked to be called, also served at the U.S. Embassy in Kinshasa, Zaire.
During his time in the service, he earned his Bachelor's degree from the University of Maryland and his Master's degree from Peabody College at Vanderbilt University.
We appreciate the wonderful care given to him by his aides and nurses during his extended illness.
Entombment will be private.
