October 16, 1941 - September 25, 2011
GYSGT. Jerold T. (Jerry) Adams USMC, of El Paso died Sunday, September 25, 2011.
He spent twenty and a half years in the corp. Jerry served overseas on five different occasions, and he was very proud to have been able to serve his country.
He was born on October 16, 1941 to Elbert and Cora Teeters Adams in Garner, Arkansas.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents and brothers: Lewis, Paul, and Lamont Adams.
He is survived by his wife of forty-eight years, Mary Louise Adams; son, Shannon (Teresa) Adams of Cabot; daughter, Sharon (Marvin) Mason of El Paso; five grandchildren, Sarah Allen, Grant Adams, Ronnie Mason, John Adams, and Seth Mason; two brothers, Frank (Kam) Adams and Tommy (Carmen) Adams; one sister, Ann-Ora Fildes; sister-in-law, Beth Adams; and two beloved dogs, Sweet Pea and Winnie.
