Russell Lee Tyler, 80 of Walnut Ridge died Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at the Flo and Phil Hospice House in Jonesboro.

Born August 27, 1939 in Randolph County; son of the late Curtis and Emma Massey Beller Tyler. He worked on Boats in his early days and retired from the Farm Service Tire Department. He was a lifelong member of the Walnut Ridge Masonic Lodge #390. Russell was a people person, he loved to talk, poke fun at his friends, call people nicknames.

He is preceded in death by his parents; three brothers; a son, Jackie Lewis and a great granddaughter, Preslee Lewis.

Survivors include five daughters, Robyn (Terry) McNelly of Powhatan, Carolyn (Martin) Lane of Walnut Ridge, Karen (Alan) Fulgham of Conway, Tammy (James) Glenn of Powhatan and Scarlet Tyler Wilson of Hoxie; twelve grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.

Graveside service will be Saturday October 5, 2019 at 12 P.M. in the Whittaker Cemetery with Masonic Rites. Pallbearers will be Tony Adkins, Herschel, Rusty and Bryan Meeks, Preston and Jeremy Lewis.

Visitation will be Saturday from 10 A.M. till 11:30 A.M. in the Bryan Chapel.
