When Thomas Franklin Fleming was born on September 22, 1893, in Sharp, Arkansas, his father, Oliver, was 28 and his mother, Susan, was 25. He married Cordie Lee Campbell on November 15, 1914. They had four children during their marriage. He died in September 1964 in Arkansas at the age of 71.
