Herbert Wesley Henry, 86, of Magnolia, passed away on Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at the John R. Williamson Hospice House in El Dorado.
He was born on February 2, 1927 in Iron Mountain, Michigan to the late Herbert and Gerda Henry. Herbert attended Michigan Tech University, obtaining a chemical engineering degree in 1951. He later worked as plant manager for Great Lakes Chemical/Albemarle Corporation, serving a number of years before his retirement in 1990.
Herbert is preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Theresa E. Henry; second wife, Franziska L. Henry and by one brother, John Henry.


Those left to cherish his memory include two sons, David Henry and wife Karen of El Dorado and Stephen Henry of Dallas; one brother, Charles Henry and wife Carol of Iron Mountain, Michigan; one sister, Elaine Johnson, also of Iron Mountain, Michigan; sister-in-law, Beverly Henry of Cortez, Florida; two grandchildren, Nathaniel Henry and Sarah Henry, both of El Dorado, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday, August 23, 2013 at Bailey Funeral Home in Magnolia.
Memorial services are scheduled for 3 p.m. Saturday, August 24, 2013 at Bailey Chapel in Magnolia with the Rev. Jim Polk officiating.


Private family burial will be at Magnolia Memorial Park under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home of Magnolia.
