Mike J. Etoch, Jr., 71, of Helena, Arkansas passed away Sunday, October 5, 2008 at Helena Regional Medical Center. Mr. Etoch was born June 4, 1937 in Helena, Arkansas to the late Michael Joseph and Adele Kathryn Etoch.
Mr. Etoch was city attorney for eight years. He graduated from the University of Arkansas for his undergraduate degree and graduated from University of Texas with a Juries Doctorate Degree.
He is survived by wife, Hedy Etoch of Helena; 3 sons: Michael J. Etoch III, and wife, Michelle, of Helena, Arkansas, Louis A. Etoch and wife, Ida, of Helena, Arkansas, and Steven W. Etoch and wife, Fran, of Louisville, Kentucky; 2 daughters, Adele Etoch-Lucas of Fayetteville, Arkansas and Amy Knight and husband, Vaughn, of Fayetteville, Arkansas; 3 sisters, Barbara Everhart of Houston, Texas, Kathryn Lore of Knoxville, Tennessee, and Jean Etoch of Helena, Arkansas; and 14 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his grandson, Louis Anthony Etoch; and his parents, Michael Joseph and Adele Kathryn Etoch.
Services for Mr. Etoch will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 7, 2008 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Helena, Arkansas. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Helena
