*Obituary
Robert Martin, 62, of Cabot, passed away on Sunday, November 23, 2014. He was born on July 27, 1952 to the late James Martin and Wanda Marlar Martin. Robert was a member of Cabot United Methodist Church. He was a school educator for 39 years which included coaching, teaching, serving as principal, and administrator. Robert loved each and every one of his students, teachers, co workers, and fellow officials. He was a loving family man who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and golfing. Robert is also preceded in death by his brother, Steve Martin.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Tama Martin, children; and a host of other family and friends as well as two puppies.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 25 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Moore’s Cabot Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be on Wednesday, November 26 at 10:00 a.m., at Cabot United Methodist Church with Ray Vining and Andrew Kjorlaug officiating. Graveside service will follow at 3:30 in Magnolia Memorial Park in Magnolia, AR. The family would like to thank St. Vincent’s- MICU team as well as Arkansas Hospice, and Dr. Brad Baltz and his staff. In lieu of flowers please send memorial contributions to Cabot Scholarships Foundation c/o Calvin Aldridge 200 West Main Street Cabot, AR 72023 or Cabot United Methodist Church.
