James David Kitchens, 65 of Conway, passed away on November 8, 2008. He was a son to the late J.B. and Geneva (Williams) Kitchens. David retired from the County Assessors Office, where he had worked as an appraiser. He loved his family and being in the outdoors, where he was an avid fisherman and hunter of all types of game. He was of the Baptist faith.
Those left to mourn his memory are his wife of thirty-nine years Patsy Sue ( Brown) Kitchens; his son Matthew David Kitchens and wife Kay of Conway; a brother: Jimmy Lynne Kitchens of TN ; and uncle: Benny Williams and a host of cousins and friends.
Family visitation will be held on Tuesday, November11, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Roller McNutt Funeral home in Conway.
Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November12 at the funeral home, with Rev. Roy Hill officiating. Interment will follow at Bethlehem Cemetery in Greenbrier, with David Dickens, Ronnie Duke, Charlie Swaffar, Buck McManus, Lynn Wofford and Ollie Morgan serving as pallbearers.
