James Wofford, Sr, 72, of Van Buren,Arkansas passed away Friday, June 20, 2014 in Fort Smith,Arkansas. He was born February 18, 1942 in Fort Smith ,Arkansas to Cathy and Letta Wofford. He retired from Pepper Source and was a member of New Life United Pentecostal Church in Alma, Arkansas. He is survived by his wife, Charla Wofford; daughters Cathy Tubbs of San Antonio, Texas, Wendy White of Alma,Arkansas; Sherry Gilbert of Stilwell, Oklahoma, Terry Miller of Ozark,Arkansas, Ruth Ann Thompson of Fort Smith, Arkansas; sons Carl Wilkinson, Jr of Kibler, Arkansas, James W Wofford, Jr of Alma,Arkansas, David Brown of Van Buren,Arkansas; 15 grand children and 10 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were David Brown, Carl Wilkinson, James Wofford, Jr, William Miller, Anthony Straw, Matthew Parks, Justin Cooper, Joseph Cooper, Jason Cooper and Joshua Brown. Honorary pallbearer was Aubrey Beaumont.
