Marvin Ray Waller, 75, of Emerson died Monday, April 16, 2018 at the Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock.
Marvin was born December 18, 1942 in Emerson to the late Almond Marvin and Nellie Willene (Hay) Waller. He was a lifelong member of the Brister Baptist Church and was retired from Alumax/Alcoa. He was a Mason and enjoyed running foxhounds, riding horses, and was an avid hunter. The light of his life were his grandchildren and family.


He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Joyce Roberson. Marvin is survived by his wife of 54 ½ years, Nancy Kyle Waller of Emerson; children, Karen Crisp, Marla Dodson and husband Steve all of Magnolia, Kyle Waller and wife Wendy of Emerson; sister, Lois Fisher of Stillwater, OK; grandchildren, Austin Anderson of Emerson, Braydon Dodson and wife Jenny, Hastin Dodson and Hunter Dodson of Magnolia, Kutter Waller and Kolt Waller of Emerson, Kristie Wood and husband Kirk of Magnolia, Janea Joslin and husband Heath of Emerson; great grandchildren Benjamin, Kreiger, and Jase; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., in Magnolia. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday at the Brister Baptist Church in Emerson with Dr. Eric Goble officiating. Burial will follow at the Memorial Park Cemetery in Magnolia. Marvin’s grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
