Robert Devoe Merriweather - Tuckerman
Robert Devoe Merriweather, 48, of Tuckerman died Wednesday, Feb. 4, in Newport.
Born in Newport, he was a 1973 graduate of Tuckerman High School and was a construction superintendent for Kroger Enterprises. He was a member of the Free Will Baptist Church at Tuckerman.
Survivors include his mother, Wanda Davis Merriweather of Tuckerman; two brothers, Danny Merriweather of Crossett and Bobby Merriweather of North Little Rock.
He was preceded in death by his father, Arvin Dean Merriweather.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Jackson's Newport Funeral Home with the Revs. David Winfrey and Emery Crossland officiating.
Burial will be in the Hopewell Cemetery at Cord.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
