In Loving Memory of Danny R. Davis. Danny Ray Davis went to take his place to heaven on Monday, November 2, 2015 at the age of 61.
Danny is survived by his wife Deborah Anne Davis; his sons Johnathan Thomas Davis and Danny Joe Davis; and his siblings Beth Potts, Diann Evans, and Scott Davis. He is also survived by daughter in-law Louise Davis and his grandchildren, Alexis Anne Davis, Victoria Rose Davis, Gabriel Michael McDowell, and Shawn-Michael Thomas Davis. He is preceded in death by his mother Muriel Irlean Brandl, father Floyd Aaron Davis, and his brother Jimmy Floyd Davis.
Danny was born on June 2, 1954 in Fort Sill, OK to Irlean Brandl and Floyd Davis. He married Deborah Anne Davis, on November 29, 1975. After moving to Chidester, Arkansas, Danny began working for Esterline. The couple welcomed two children into their home Danny Joe Davis and Johnathan Thomas Davis whom he loved very much. His boys remember him as being kind, gentle, and patient.
Danny was talented in many areas of life. He had his mothers artistic traits and loved to paint and make various things and a green thumb to be envied. He loved fishing, and being close to nature and his family. He enjoyed holidays mostly because he got to see his family. Danny had many friends, mostly those who he worked with. He talked of them often and enjoyed work.
A viewing is scheduled for Saturday, November 7, 2015; 4pm - 8pm, at Proctor Funeral Home in Camden, AR. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Danny's life. Please send any flowers to Proctor Funeral Home. The family would like to thank Esterline for the generous help, and Proctor Funeral Home for being so kind.
