Adam Willfond, 37, of Atkins, passed away Saturday, July 22, 2017, at UAMS Medical Center in Little Rock. He was born May 24, 1980, in Russellville. He was a coon hunter, baseball coach, and mentor to many young athletes.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Melvin and Cathleen Willfond; and a nephew, Brendon Willfond. He is survived by his wife, Kayla Willfond; sons, Lucas and Cash Willfond; father, Charles Willfond of Atkins; mother, Lisa Darlene Milton; mother and father-in-law, Renea and husband Richard Kirkland; brothers, Melvin Willfond, and Leon Willfond and wife Ashley; sisters and brothers-in-law, Kourtney and husband Matthew Sweeney , Kelly and husband Frankie Landers, Keri and husband Ryan Waller; grandparents, Billy Harris, Sr and wife Joann, and Lorene Millsap; and numerous other family, friends, and fellow area baseball coaches that he was privileged to coach with, and his 2017 Revolution baseball team.
Pallbearers were Brandon Brothers, D J Shamblen, Eric Hottinger, Three Harris, Billy Harris, Jr, Bobby Harris, Chris Turic, Lucas Willfond and Jarrod Willfond. Honorary pallbearers were the 2017 Revolution baseball team, Bradley Harris, Tim Sweeden, Billy Harris, Sr, Leon Willfond and Melvin Willfond.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his honor may be made to the Willfond Fund, c/o Centennial Bank Account #502300693, 812 N Church St, Atkins, Arkansas 72823.
