Billy Gene Lessley, 84 of Fort Smith, passed away Thursday, February 9, 2017.
He was born February 13, 1932 in Mulberry to the late William Burt and Dorthy Lessley.
He was of the Baptist faith. He was retired from Akzo Nobel Coatings where he was a National Sales Manager, and he was the former owner of Lessley's Refinishing.
A memorial graveside service will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, February 13, 2017 at New Cemetery in Mulberry. Arrangements are under the direction of Fentress Mortuary in Fort Smith.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Mary Jane; two daughters, Sharon Horton and her husband Tim, and Vicci Hiller and her husband Sam, both of Fort Smith; three grandchildren, Sam Austin of Bryant, J.J. Chronister and her husband Ryan, and Scott Austin, both of Fort Smith; three great grandchildren, Molly Austin and Banks Austin, and Ellie Jane Chronister; a sister, Linda Sue Taylor and her husband Dennis of Mountainburg; two brothers, Jimmy Lessley and his wife Irma and Jerry Dale Lessley, both of Fort Smith.
