Don Hudson age 56, of Banks, AR died Thursday, April 26th at the Bradley County Medical Center. He was born June 11th, 1961 in Warren, AR a son of Dixie Hudson Young, Banks, AR and the late Murry Gene Hudson. He was a 25 year employee with the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department, District 7, where he was an assistant foreman, was a member of Wagnon United Methodist Church and a graduate of the Banks Public Schools. Don loved hunting, fishing and being around family and friends. He was also preceded in death by his step- father Charles Young, his paternal grandparents, Byron and Ruth Hudson, his maternal grandparents Frank and Maude Hooks and a brother Charles Sindle. He is survived by his sons, Keeton Hudson and Ty Hudson both of Banks, AR. His former spouse, friend and mother of his children Allison Hudson, Banks, AR. Step-brothers Mike Young, Dennis Young and spouse Kathy, Danny Joe Young and spouse Dianne, and David Young and spouse Sharron all of Warren, AR. His sister in law Debbie Sindle, Parkers Chapel, AR. Nephew Caleb Sindle and spouse Christie, Parkers Chapel, AR. Special children to him Memory and Leighla Light, Harrell, AR and numerous nieces and nephews as well. Funeral services were 2:00PM Sunday, April 29th at Wagnon United Methodist Church with Rev. Marty Reep and Rev. Buddy Boykin officiating. Soloist was Lisa Kellum. Burial was in McFarland Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Johnny Alverson, John Irwin, James Johnston, Warren Thomas Hooks, Jr, Rusty Hopper, and David Dension. Honorary pallbearers were Dale Robertson, Theron York, Member of Wagnon United Methodist Church, Employees of District 7 Arkansas Highway & Transportation Department, Kathy Hall, Lisa Kellum, B.C.M.C. doctors and staff, and Clay Adams. Memorials preferred the Arkansas Children Hospital.
