Donald Spencer Moore, 74, of Jonesboro, AR., died Saturday, September 07, 2013, at his home.
He had lived in Jonesboro, AR., for 34 years and was a member of the Greensboro Church of Christ. Donald served in the US Air Force from 1957 – 1961. He retired as Vice-President of Sales and Marketing for Best Diversified Products. Donald loved hunting and fishing and coaching baseball. He was instrumental in the creation of the Nettleton High School Baseball program in 1986.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Glen and Lola Moore and an infant Brother Buddy.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Judy Moore of the home; sons, Spencer Moore (Channon); Jon Moore (Tara); Zane Moore (Candice) all of Jonesboro; daughters, Lori Nelson (Ernie) of Bono; Michelle Moore (Kenny Woodman) of Jonesboro; brother, David Moore; sisters, Martha Neal, Pat Woodall, Wanda Flemon, Sue Robinette all of Jonesboro; grandchildren, Ethan Moore, Evan Moore, Garrett Woodman, Gatlin Woodman, Whitney Buck, Raegan Moore and one great grand-child, Aubrie Buck.
Funeral services were at Emerson Memorial Chapel with burial at Birdeye Veterans Cemetery.
