Samuel Leroy Brister, Jr., of El Paso, passed away peacefully at Conway Regional Hospital on May 10, 2017 in Conway, Arkansas at the age of 43.
Samuel was born on August 17, 1973 in Durant, Oklahoma.
Samuel is survived by his father, Samuel Leroy Brister, Sr. of Durant, Oklahoma; the children's mother, Cynthia Brister, of Conway; two daughters, Cortney White (Jimmy) of Marion, Arkansas; Sydne Brister (Antonio) of El Paso; four brothers, David Watson (Nikki); John Watson (Ambra); Justin Watson all of El Paso; Walter Brister of Kingston, Oklahoma; Sisters Christine Watson (Robert) of Cabot; Caren Thorpe (Robert) of El Paso; Samantha Watson (Patrick) of El Paso; Boise Sherman of Durant, Oklahoma; Joye Brister of Ada, Oklahoma; Rosie Brister of Pheonix, Arizona; Abbiegail Coleman (Bruce) of Holdenville, Oklahoma. 14 nieces and nephews; Blake, Eric, Marcus, Kelsey, Dylan, Sammy, Makyla, Jayden, Jade, Atom, Henry, Graycee, Davy, Riley. great nephew, Ransom; great niece, Reagan. 4 grandchildren, Ki'erra; Jimmy; Kobe; Addison.
He is preceded in death by Momma, Carolyn Sue Kelsey Watson; and Daddy, Jerry David Watson, Sr.; and godfather, Sammy Joe Laire.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 13, 2017 from 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM at Center Point Freewill Baptist Church 2100 US-64 Vilonia, AR.
A funeral is scheduled for 1:00 PM Monday, May 15th, 2017 also at the church. Bro. Greig Caswell will officiate the ceremony. Interment will follow at Grizzard Cemetery in El Paso.
