Robert T. Wright, 91 of El Dorado, died Saturday, January 25, 2014 at the John R. Williamson Hospice House.
Born March 31, 1922 in El Dorado, he was the son of Thomas Carroll and Norma Deason Wright. Mr. Wright attended the University of Alabama where he was member of Kappa Sigma fraternity. He enjoyed playing golf and fishing in his leisure time.
He had been employed as a sales representative for Lion Oil Company and served in the U. S. Marine Corps during World War II and was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church. He and his wife Janet were among the founding families of the church where he served on numerous committees and positions.
Preceding him in death along with his parents were his wife of 65 years Janet Wright and a sister Marguerite Wright.
