John Grover Lawson, 52 of Bearden, AR passed away Monday, October 24, 2011 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock. He was born February 26, 1959 to Oscar and Joyce Lindsey Lawson in Alamogordo, NM.
He was preceded in death by is father, Oscar Lawson; and sister, Barbara Harville. He is survived by his wife, Jamie Lawson of Bearden, AR; mother, Joyce Lawson of Bearden, AR; sisters, Sarah Lawson of Bearden, AR, Connie Quimby and husband, Alford of Knoxville, TN and Patti Womack and husband, Michael of Springfield, MO; brothers, Lewis Lawson and Donald Lawson both of Bearden, AR; daughter, Vicki Jones and husband, Jerry of Bismarck, AR; sons, John Robert Lawson and fiancée, Stephanie Hoover and Adam Lawson all of Bearden, AR; granddaughters, Carrie Jones and Amanda Jones both of Bismarck, AR; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, October 29, 2011 at Eagle Mills Baptist Church with burial in Salem Cemetery. Carlie Davis and Chris Morgan will officiate the service. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday and 9:00 to 11:00 AM Saturday at the funeral home. Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
