CAM, Henry - Henry Cam died at his home in the south part of town on Saturday night about ten o'clock. His death was quite sudden and he had been ill for about one week. His death was caused by paralysis of the bowels. The funeral was held from the home of the deceased on Sunday evening at five o'clock and was conducted by Rev. Swan of the M.E. church and Rev. Voyles of the Baptist church. Mr. Cam was fifty-nine years old at the time of his death. He was born at Sheffield, England on March 31, 1840 and came to this country with his parents when he was three years old. He came to Rogers from Illinois about 11 years ago. He was unmarried and lived here with his sister. He was favorably known by most of our citizens and his death has caused a genuine regret throughout the community. Barnard Cam of Pisgah, Ill. arrived in the city on Monday morning and will remain for some time looking after business matters of the deceased, his brother. Miss Lizzie Cam, who lived here with her brother, will make her home in the future in Illinois with relatives and will leave for there as soon as business matters are disposed of.
