Douglas G. Stowe-Rains, 20, Fayetteville, died Nov. 1 as result of a fire in his apartment. Born Jan. 22, 1954, at Grand Island, Neb., he was the son of George and Shirley Rimers Stowe-Rains, a member of the Methodist Church, attended Greenland High School and was a cashier at Gibson's Discount Center.
Survivors include his parents; one brother, George Stowe-Rains of the home; one sister, Mrs. Sharene Jordon, West Fork; his paternal grandfather, Kenneth Stowe-Rains, Springfield, Mo.; and maternal grandfather, Bert Rimers, Fayetteville.
Funeral services will be Monday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Nelson Funeral Home, Fayetteville, with the Rev. Larry Dodgen officiating. Burial will be in Nelson Cemetery.
