Robert M. (Bob) Studts, 95, was born on August 8, 1918 and went home on Tuesday, December 31, 2013.
He was preceded in death by father John, mother Arla, brother John and daughter-in-law Helen Studts.
He is survived by his wife of 71 years Avonelle of Fairfield Bay AR; sons John Studts of Marshalltown, IA, and Jim Studts (Linda) of Fairfield Bay, AR; 4 grand- children; and 7 great grandchildren.
Bob was very active in Faith Lutheran Church of Fairfield Bay, the Fairfield Bay Lions Club and a very active golfer at the Indian Hills Counter Club. Bob retired from Fisher Controls in Marshalltown, IA, after 39 years of service.
His Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2014, at 10:00 AM at Faith Lutheran Church in Fairfield Bay. Interment to follow at Woodland Memorial Park on Hwy 16.
