Mr. Chuck Hart, 47, of Marianna, Arkansas died after a brief illness on Saturday, November 5, 2016 at Methodist Central Hospital in Memphis, TN. Born December 17, 1968, he was the son of the late Charles “Charlie” Hart, Sr. and Betty Rose Howerton Hart. Mr. Hart was a twenty year veteran with the Marianna Fire Department and a Certified First Responder. He was Rookie of the Year in 1997, Firefighter of the Year in 2007 and a recipient of the Chuck Boone Courage Award in 2012. An avid hunter, Mr. Hart was a hunting guide with Big Creek Ducks and Bucks and the L’Anguille River Hunt Club. He was a Christian.

Mr. Hart is survived by his wife, Carol Ann Moore Hart of the home; two daughters Camryn Hart and Caroline Hart, also of the home; one sister, Mrs. Tammy (& Jeff) Watkins of Newbern, TN; two nieces Johnna and Emily Watkins of Newbern, TN; and a host a family and friends.

A Fireman’s Honor Service is scheduled for Thursday, November 10, 2016 at 2:00PM at the Marianna Fire Department in Marianna, Arkansas. Bro. Steve Moore and Bro. Tim McMillan will be officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Heights Cemetery in Marianna.

Visitation is scheduled prior to the service from 12:30pm to 2:00pm at the Marianna Fire Department. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Chuck Hart Benefit Fund, c/o Farmers & Merchants Bank, 33 W. Main St. Marianna, AR 72360.

Morgan Funeral Home, Forrest City, Arkansas is in charge of arrangements.
