Herbert Hugh Ott visitation today
Herbet Hugh Ott of Yellville died Saturday (April 5, 1997) at Baxter County Regional Hospital.
Mr. Ott was born July 29, 1918, in Yellville to Quince H. and Nora Treat Ott. He married Martha Lee Brace on Jan. 2, 1949. He worked for Arkansas Power and Light Co. and was a lifetime resident of Marion County. He was a member of Pleasant Ridge Methodist Church and a veteran of World War II.
He is survived by his wife, at home: three sisters, Donna McEntire and Edith Jones of Yellville; and Bonnie Smith of Wichita, Kan.; and a brother, J.B. Ott of Yellville.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. today. The service will be a 2 p.m. Wednesday at Pleasant Ridge Methodist Church with the Rev. Donna Alberts officiating. Pallbearers will be Brian Jones, Marty Jones, Steve Jones, Joe Jones, Tim Beaver and Shawn Beaver. Honorary pallbearers will be Harold Roark, Vernon Parker, Loyd Keeter, Hugh Parnell, Audie Smith, Shorty Beaver, Harold Mears, Junior Kasting, Russell Lee James and Burl Ott. Burial will be in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery.
Arrangements are by Burns Funeral Home.
