A celebration of Life for Frank Godat of Yellville will be 3:00pm, Wednesday June 22, 2016 at the New Hope Baptist Church south of Yellville.

Visitation will begin at 1:30 pm prior to services. Pastor Jack Jefferson will officiate and burial with honors will follow at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery. Frank passed away on Saturday, June 18, 2016 in Springfield, Missouri at the age of 66.

He was born in St. Louis, Missouri on October 10, 1949 to Francis Lee Sr. and Myrtle Evelyn (Stubblefield) Godat. Frank served his country during the Vietnam War with the United States Army. He was united in marriage to Joyce Elaine (Beckemeyer). Frank worked at Ranger Boat Manufacturing for a total of 22 years.

He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church and was Sunday School leader. His hobbies were gardening and motorcycles. He is the current president of the Buffalo River Faith Riders Chapter of the Christian Motorcycle Association, and American Legion Post 61, Yellville

Surviving to cherish his memory is his wife Joyce of the home; sons: Francis Paul Godat of Cuba, Missouri; and Timothy James Godat (Lupe) of San Diego, California; daughter, Misty (Tom) Connor of Bull Shoals, Arkansas; granddaughters: Makayla and Mariah Adkerson of Yellville; and Bailey Godat of Cuba, Missouri; brothers: Kenneth A Godat of Yellville, Arkansas; and Randy E. Godat of Flippin, Arkansas.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and 2 brothers: Gary R. and John Dean Godat. Memorials maybe directed to New Hope Baptist Church 3920 Highway 14 South Yellville, Arkansas 72687.
