February 9, 1908 - May 21, 1971
David J. Hodges, aged 62, of Camden, died Friday. He is survived by his wife Rubby Lee. Survivors include six sons, William E., Charles J., Hamp S., and Doyle D. Hodges, all of Camden, Melvin Hodges of Little Rock and Andrew Hodges of Illinois; two daughters, Mrs. Mary L. Bryant and Mrs. Mattie L. Turner, both of Camden; a sister, Mrs. Hattie McCullough of Nashville; four brothers, Coby Hodges of Malvern, William Hodges of Texarkana, Andrew Hodges of Georgia and Walter Hodges of Arizona; 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Funeral will be at 3:30 p.m. today at Calvary Assembly of God Church here. Burial will be at Liberty Cemetery by Camden Funeral Service. (Camden News - May 24, 1971)
