Raymond J. Owens, 71, of Conway, AR departed this life Sunday, December 28, 2014. He was born on April 3, 1943 in Tulsa, OK to the late James R. and Ollie Mae (Logan) Owens. He is preceded in death by his parents and a son, Raymond Owens, Jr.
He was self-employed.
He is survived by one brother, Nate Johnson of Conway, AR; one sister, Marilyn Owens of Conway, AR; two stepchildren, Tashunda Pratt and Martell Reed both of Atlanta, GA; a very special friend and fiancée, Rolene Criswell of Conway, AR.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Saturday, January 3, 2015 at Mt. Sinai Church of God in Christ, 349 Hwy 365 South, Conway, AR. Visitation 6-7 P.M. Friday, January 2, 2015 at Greater Pleasant Branch Baptist Church, 601 Spruce Street, Conway. Interment Robinson Cemetery.
