Ronald Junior Moser, son of the late Murkle Moser and Odie Sipe Moser, was born March 25, 1945 in Gid, Arkansas. He departed this life April 14, 2016 in Batesville, Arkansas at the age of 71 years and 20 days. He was united in marriage to Vickie Diane Rush August 6, 1965 and to this union two sons were born. Vickie passed away February 19, 1993. Ronald served in the United State Army during the Vietnam War; receiving an Honorable Discharge after two years of service. He spent his life as a loving son, brother, husband, father, provider and friend. During his working years, he was employed by Boeing Aircraft, retiring after 35 years of employment. He was an avid outdoors man who loved camping, Rving, fishing and attending to his farm and two dogs. He was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by two sons: Chris Moser of Melbourne and Todd Moser of Allen, Kentucky; two sisters: Evona Adkisson and husband Shelby of West Plains, Missouri and Melba Fulbright and husband Jimmy of Mount Pleasant; his companion of many years: Beverly Ward of the home; three nieces: Sheilah Caraway of Mount. Pleasant, Pam Smith of Mount Pleasant and Susan Leonard of Flippin; two nephews: Regan Adkisson of St. Joseph, Missouri and Darin Adkisson of West Plains, Missouri and a host of other relatives and many good friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; one brother: Conway Moser; two infant siblings: Donald Moser and Imogene Moser; one niece: Sheryl Fulbright and one nephew Danny Moser.
Funeral service will be Sunday, April 17 at 2:00 p.m. at Howard Memorial Funeral Chapel in Melbourne with Randy Bailey and Danny Brightwell officiating. Burial will be at Combs Cemetery under the direction of Eddie’s Family Funeral Home in Melbourne. Visitation will be Sunday, April 17 beginning at 12 noon.
Pallbearers: Tim Parker, Jerry Ward, James Clark, Mark Herrington, Darin Adkisson and Roger Leonard.
Honorary Pallbearers: Jay Ward, Orba Ward, Ace Grissom, Harold Stroud, Roy Smith and Charlie Smith.
