Ronald Dormania Faught the husband of Glenda (Crist) Faught. Ronald Dormania Faught the son of Virgil Henry Faught and Elda (Porterfield) Faught.
Ronald D. Faught
Ronald D. Faught, son of Elda Porterfield Faught and the late Virgil Henry Faught, was born July 21, 1939 in Wideman, Arkansas. He departed this life November 21 in Batesville, Arkansas at the age of 74 years and 4 months.
He was united in marriage to Glenda Crist on December 22, 1955 and to this union six children were born. He spent his life as a son, brother, nephew, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, provider and friend.
During his working years, he was employed as a law enforcement officer, private investigator, and jail Chaplin He was of the Baptist faith and a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Mt. Pleasant.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years: Glenda Faught of the home; two sons: Chris Faught and wife Angela of Little Rock and Joseph Faught of the home; four daughters and four sons-in-law: Sherri and Wade Hurst of Paola, Kansas, Teresa and Mitch Baltz of Powhatten, Arkansas, Calista and Tracy Patterson of Coldwater, Mississippi, and Crystal and Adam Sharp of Springdale, Arkansas; his mother: Elda Faught of Olathe, Kansas; one sister: Jerlene Blue and husband Bob of Olathe, Kansas; 11 grandchildren: Zachary Faught, Jack Faught, Aaron Baltz, Matthew Baltz, Marissa Baltz Hogan, Sydney Patterson, Elly Patterson, Holly Robinson, Shanna Robinson, Colton Sharp and William Sharp; 10 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and many good friends.
He was preceded in death by his father: Virgil Henry Faught and one brother: Ronnie Faught.
Funeral service will be Saturday, November 23 at 2:00 p.m. at Howard Memorial Funeral Chapel in Melbourne with Bryan McMorris officiating.
Burial will be at Barren Fork Cemetery under the direction of Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Melbourne.
Visitation will be Friday, November 22 from 6-8 p.m.
Pallbearers: Matthew Baltz, Aaron Baltz, Michael Hogan, Tracy Patterson, Mitch Baltz and T. J. Anderson.
