James William Kreyer, 70, passed from this life on Monday, Aug. 24, 2015.
He was born in Mondovi Wis., to Doris E. (Johnson) Kreyer and the late Werner R. Kreyer.
He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Jane (Crandall) Kreyer; four daughters, Jaci Poyner (Derek), Julie Cowsert (David), Jeani Brown (Larry) and Jennifer Kreyer; two sons, Jody Kreyer and Jamy Kreyer (Jessica); 11 grandchildren, Branden, Casey, Austin, Whitney, Mercedes, Ethan, Laney, Zoey, Hannah, Sebastian and Ashley; four great-grandchildren, Caleb, Georgia, Ivy and Nick; four sisters, Beverly Yarrington, Peggy Matson, Diane Kellen and Debbie Johnson; three brothers, Roger, Michael and Mark Kreyer; and numerous other family and friends.
James was preceded in death by his father, Werner Kreyer; and three sisters, Linda, Mary and Roxanne.
Visitation will be from 7-9 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 27, 2015 in the chapel of Bishop-Crites Funeral Home in Greenbrier.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m., Friday, Aug. 28, 2015 in the chapel of Bishop-Crites Funeral Home in Greenbrier, with pastors Roger and Mike Kreyer officiating. Burial will follow in Old Texas Cemetery.
