George William Gray age 82 of Strawberry died Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at his home. He was born October 21, 1933 at Lauratown, Arkansas to Orville and Lena McGinnis Gray.

He was retired from Banquet Foods in Batesville and was a member of the Cave City Church of God.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Earl Gray.

Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Maxine Gray of the home; one son, Ricky Gray and wife Martine of St. Louis, Missouri; two daughters, Debbie Thacker and husband Donnie of Smithville and Tammie Davis and husband Danny of Lynn; one brother, Loren Gray of Arnold, Missouri; three grandchildren, Kyle Polston of Springfield, Missouri, Josh Gray of Festus, Missouri and Tiffiny Steece of Spencer, Iowa; eight great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be Saturday, February 13, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Rev. Allen Brown, Rev. Rondell Hager and grandson Josh Gray officiating. Burial will follow in the Ward Cemetery located at Strawberry with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.

Visitation will be Saturday, February 13, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Jim Gray, Bill Gray, Travis Gray, Gary Kirby, Roger Kirby and Terry Kirby.
